Your Instagram portfolio is simply incomplete without shots of these places! With so much to do and see, while also keeping your fans happy, it can be pretty overwhelming. Luckily, we’re here to lend a helping hand with this month’s social programme! Let’s take a look at 10 of the most Instagrammable (is that a word?) sites on the Emerald Isle

10. Titanic Belfast

The sinking of the Titanic is a tragedy that will never be forgotten, whether you’re from Ireland or abroad so it’s no surprise that this one makes the list. People from all over the globe flock to Titanic Belfast and are never disappointed by the interactive exhibitions, the historic dock where it all began and the the building itself, designed by the renowned architect Eric Robert Kuhne

9. The Phoenix Park

You don’t need to go far to tick this one off your bucket-list, you’ll find this huge green space in the north-side of the city. It is home to the ‘Áras an Uachtarán’ or the President of Ireland’s house, Dublin Zoo, the Papal cross, the Wellington Monument as well as almost 500 wild deer. This park is beautiful in any weather but Winter time and Summer time are certainly the most popular periods for people to come

8. Glendalough

Located in Wicklow National Park, just south of county Dublin, this place offers both historic wealth and natural beauty. This was where St Kevin set up his monastery in the 6th century and much of the building, including the round tower. The word ‘Glendalough’ means ‘Valley of the two lakes and a walk around the grounds will tell you why. Maybe you joined our trip this weekend, so you’re well on your way to completing the list

7. The Giant’s Causeway

No surprises here that the Giant’s Causeway has made the list – it’s every instagramers compositional dream. The step like basalt rock formations were said to have been made by giants.. Although Geologists would say it was volcanoes. You can decide what you believe when we visit the North of Ireland at the end of this month!

6. The Guinness Storehouse

The Guinness storehouse museum stands on the grounds of the fermentation plant of St James’ Gate Brewery where the ‘black stuff’ was originally brewed. From the ground floor to the sky bar, your sure to get some impressive snaps, not to mention the best pint of Guinness

5. Powerscourt Estate and Gardens and Waterfall

These beautiful site can be found in Eniskerry, Wicklow, just south of Dublin. It was built in the 13th Century but has been altered significantly since. It was originally owned by Viscount Powerscourt but has been owned by the Slanzenger family since 1961. From the House to the Gardens to the waterfall, the photo-ops are endless!

4. Howth

Just a short train ride from the city will; bring you to Howth, a beautiful old fishing village. While here, it is obligatory to do the cliff-walk that takes you on a scenic route filled with stunning ocean views, as well as Baily Lighthouse. Afterwards, relax in the village, try some authentic Fish ‘n’ Chips and visit the Doghouse Cafe

for a coffee.. or maybe something stronger

3. Connemara

Connemara National Park is a small district in Galway, in the West of Ireland. This area is about as Irish as it gets so cameras at the ready! From bogs, forests, lakes and the coastline Connemara really has it all

It’s not only our favourite place to meet friends on a sunny day for ‘Cans at the Canal’ but it’s also a great place for getting that perfect Insta..

1. The Cliffs of Moher

Will there be a post that doesn’t include the Cliffs of Moher? Probably not. A bad picture of these beauties simply does not exist so get snapping. An Irish Instagram portfolio is not complete without them!
