Cats revenge
Yesterday was one of the biggest days in the Irish sporting calendar: the All-Ireland Hurling Final. Kilkenny took on Tipperary in a rematch of last year’s final. And the “Cats” of Kilkenny, in black and amber (between orange and yellow), got revenge on their Tipp rivals, and regained the Liam McCarthy Cup for the 33rd time. This Kilkenny team is in many people’s opinions the greatest ever.
Although the picture quality is not so good you can also see it on You Tube here:

Look out for the unbelievable Kilkenny goal. Eddie Brennan makes a run down the centre of the field and hand-passes to Richie Hogan, who controls the sliotar (ball) on his stick and shoots. Incredible skill at pace. If you manage to see the ball you’re doing well, the whole thing happens so fast. Enjoy. Oh yeah, and watch for what happens to the poor referee!
