5 must-do things in Malta

Malta is well known for having incredible attractions for tourists of all ages. From beautiful and breathtaking sceneries of crystal clear beaches and picturesque historic buildings, to its culture and cuisine, Malta provides a unique tourist experience.

Yes,  our school is located in this magical place and we want to share with you the 5 must-do things to do when you come visit us in Malta.

1- Valletta: Saluting Battery

The first place we recommend not to miss is the Saluting Battery, located in the Capital city of Valletta. This place is particularly interesting if you want to experience Maltese history. The saluting Battery is the oldest operating one in the world, which makes it a very cool and special place to visit as it has been protecting the capital from attacks for almost 500 years. You will not regret looking and taking pictures of the spectacular views across the Harbour of Fort St Angelo and the three cities of Senglea, Vittoriosa and Cospicua. If you are lucky enough and get to arrive before 11:45am do not miss the short commentary before the firing at midday!

3- Ta’ Qali Crafts Village

We all love souvenirs so we could not leave Ta’ Qali Crafts Village out of this list of places that you must visit in Malta! A cool fact is that this place is located in the former RAF wartime air-field so it makes it a very popular attraction for tourists. This craft village has a large variety of beautiful original Maltese crafts and artefacts, sold and created by local experts. While visiting you will get to watch craftsmen blowing and forming glass as well as filigree-making. If you fancy having a meal, or a drink after shopping, there are food and beverage shops around where you can sit and relax.

And last but not least, you can visit the Ta’Qali National Park as well, the National Stadium, a large vegetable market called Il-Pitkalija and the Malta Aviation Museum.
