Our Study & Internship Programme provides Atlas students with a great opportunity to combine English learning with a quality work placement in a company related to their studies.

Our Study and Internship Programme allows students the opportunity to take unpaid internships across a range of companies and sectors in Dublin. After completing their language studies (4 weeks or more) our internship partner organization will match each student’s profile, experience and language ability with one of the many local companies we have links with.

  • Telephone interview may be required
  • Course and accommodation organised to suit confirmed internship
  • Course and accommodation details provided to student

Arrival – Course Start

  • Student starts course at Atlas (4 weeks or more)
  • Internship details provided to student

Internship Start

  • Support and mentoring throughout internship
  • Social activities organised
  • Assistance with work, school or general paperwork


  • Certification of Completion for internship

Terms and Conditions

Atlas Study & Internship Programme combines an English Language Course (minimum duration of 4 weeks) with a quality internship in a company in Dublin. Candidates will be placed in a position directly linked to his / her studies.Atlas works with a partner organisation who specialise in recruiting candidates for internships in national and international companies in County Dublin as well as the city centre.

The internship company will match each student’s profile with one of the many local companies we have links with. The candidate must be available at all times for a phone interview with the company during the search period.

Internships are unpaid; therefore, we advise the applicants to come financially prepared.

The candidates must be at least 18 years old and should have at least an intermediate level of English (B1) when applying for the internship. Internships depend completely on the student’s language skills and on their vocational training and experience.

The internship is provided for a specific employer and all participants are subject to Irish Civil Law regulations.

The following documents must be sent by email at least 8 weeks before the first day of the course. The documents should be sent, preferably, by e-mail.

  • Atlas course booking form + Result of Atlas Online Assessment Test
  • Internship application form
  • Detailed CV (Europass preferred)
  • Letter of Motivation

Our partner undertakes to find a place in a company where the candidate will develop hands-on business skills directly linked to her/his studies. A tutor in the company will supervise her/him. The training agreement between the candidate and employer will have to be signed.

The position offered to the candidate as well as the tasks given will depend on their level of English, previous professional experiences and their attitude (punctuality, initiative, motivation etc.).

Our partner is in no way responsible for the professional evolution of the candidate once inside the company.

The internship is provided for a specific employer and all participants are subject to Irish Civil Law regulations.


Any request to cancel your candidate’s application must be made by phone and confirmed in writing 2 weeks prior to the starting date of the language course (cancellation fees might apply).The student will be withdrawn from the program if:

  • He/she does not show to an interview
  • He/she refuses a position which corresponds to the information on the acceptance letter
  • He/she leaves the employment without valid reason
  • He/she is laid off
  • He/she doesn’t comply with rules laid down by the company
